Who are we?

The Syddansk Studenterråd (SDS) represents all students at SDU and advocates for their interests, locally as well as nationally, in order to strengthen the study environment through professional, social and student policy activities.

Semester start party

One of Denmark's biggest parties, organized by students for students. 2 days of music right in the back of DSU!

Institute rivalry

The Institute Day is a large social event for all students at the University of Southern Denmark. The Institute Day is held every year on ’Students’ Day’ – a day when the calendar is cleared of teaching in favor of a sports and celebration day.

Happiness Week

The Happiness Week is an initiative at SDU to strengthen the well-being of our students. The Happiness Week is held every year in week 11, where a lot of activities are continuously held, both formal and informal, presentations, shows, tournaments, debate presentations, talk cafes, panel discussions, social gatherings, and much more.

Student Fair

The Student Fair is the study start event that gives the opportunity to get to know SDU and Odense even better. Whether you are a new student at SDU or you just want to hear about the exciting new opportunities Odense and SDU have to offer, this is the perfect place to be!

How can I become an active member of SDS?

You can sign up as an active member of the Syddansk Studenterråd. As an active member, you get a lot of benefits such as access to our premises, invitations to various cool events, as well as newsletters and invitations to volunteer at our awesome events!
