The Board
The board is the highest authority of the Southern Danish Student Council between general meetings and leads the association on a daily basis.
Introduction to the board
The board consists of up to 10 members, 8 of whom are elected at the general assembly, and 2 student representatives who sit on the university board.
The chairman is elected at the general meeting, while the board is constituted with at least 1 vice chairman and 1 treasurer among the elected board members.
The Board of Directors Tasks
The board is responsible for the association's operations and governs the association between the general meetings.
Leading and managing SDS as a whole:
The board meets regularly to guide the organization through our organizational documents and our business committee. Every year, we choose to focus on various relevant topics, as well as listen to and receive input from all of our members.
Keeping track of the association's finances
The board reviews and votes on budgets across the entire organization, ensuring financial stability for the association
Ensures a positive and welcoming culture
The board ensures that the Syddansk Studenterråd has a pleasant culture by creating a social environment where all students can participate and form new communities across SDU.
