At the Southern Denmark Student Council, we have previously worked on a number of projects that have helped enrich the lives and time of the students at SDU.

Campus life
We strive University of Southern Denmark to have the best study environment in Denmark.
The project looks at how the building stock at SDU can be best adapted to student life. Since 2015, SDU has allocated 20 million kroner for the expansion and improvement of facilities for associations and subject advisory boards.

Friday bar
The Syddansk Studenterråd has been involved in establishing the Fredagsbaren, and we were also involved when it changed its location in September 2012 and opened under the name Nedenunder.
We believe that a Friday bar open to all students at SDU contributes to the good study environment at the university and helps bring students together across different study disciplines.

Denmark's best study environment
The project aims to ensure that Denmark University of Southern Denmark has the best study environment, which requires learning and social interaction.
This is done, among other things, through the association network, whose goal is to ensure continuous support for the student associations at SDU, and through study councilthe network, where we work to ensure support for study council and knowledge sharing across disciplines.

The restaurants
We must ensure that all studies, large and small, have the resources and support they need to ensure a good start to studies for all new students.
In addition, we are fighting to ensure that all study start principles are implemented.

SDU Fitness
SDU Fitness was established by the Syddansk Studenterråd and opened in September 2013. We continue to sit on the board to ensure that our students receive the best possible fitness and exercise facilities at student-friendly prices.
The Students in the Center
The project began in 2010 as a strategic initiative of the management board and aimed to create a unique educational profile at SDU that could position SDU among the other Danish universities. The educational profile was defined as:
1) teaching and learning principles, and
2) to view learning, teaching, testing, administration, service, communication and the student environment from the perspective of an experienced student.

Transport Campus
The time spent commuting should be as short as possible, as it should not be a burden for students to get to the university.

More and cheaper student housing
As a student, it is important to have a permanent place to live, and that this place is affordable with your student loan.
Therefore, through our contact with politicians in the municipality of Odense, we are working across party lines to ensure that more and cheaper student housing will be built in Odense.

The study environment survey
This is a study that is conducted every two years by SDU. Here, we strive to solve important issues highlighted by the students in the study.
These can be issues such as loneliness among the students at SDU. Here it is important that the problems are addressed, that solutions are proposed, and that the proposed solutions are put into practice.
